ProTitser Terms and Conditions

Version 1. These terms apply to you from the day you install ProTitser, or, if you already had it, from the day these terms were first shown to you.

These terms are between you, the teacher who installs or uses ProTitser, and the developer of ProTitser ("the developer"). By installing or using ProTitser PC or ProTitser Mobile you agree to them.

1. What ProTitser is.

ProTitser PC (for Windows) and ProTitser Mobile (for Android) help a teacher keep class records and prepare school forms. ProTitser is an independent product. It is not made, owned or endorsed by the Department of Education.

2. Your license.

One license is for one teacher. It works on one laptop and one phone at a time. You may move it to a new laptop or a new phone when you replace yours; there is a limit to how often a license can change laptops or phones in a year. ProTitser checks its license with protitser.com from time to time. If the license cannot be checked for a long time, ProTitser becomes read-only until it is checked or renewed again. You may not share, copy, sell or lend your license or its key. A license that is shared or passed from person to person may be stopped.

3. Trying it first.

You may use ProTitser free for 7 days on a laptop and 7 days on a phone. A phone's free days begin the first time it reaches protitser.com. After the free days ProTitser becomes read-only until a license is activated.

4. Payment and the yearly fee.

A license is paid until the June 15 written on it. To keep using ProTitser after that date, you pay the yearly fee shown on protitser.com. If the fee is not paid within 15 days after June 15, ProTitser becomes read-only. Read-only means you can still open, print and export your records and nothing is deleted, but you cannot add or change records until the fee is paid. The prices are those shown on protitser.com on the day you pay.

5. Refunds.

Once a license is paid, the payment cannot be refunded. If you paid and cannot activate ProTitser, write to the developer and it will be fixed.

6. Your records are yours.

Your learners' names, grades, attendance and school forms stay on your own laptop and phone. ProTitser does not send them to protitser.com. The one exception is what you yourself choose to send to Support: your message and its pictures are sent as they are, with whatever they show. You are responsible for keeping backups of your records. A backup or a grade file that you choose to save online goes to your own Google Drive. A file that you share with another app goes where you send it.

7. What protitser.com keeps.

Your name, Gmail, school, School ID and division. Your license, until when it is paid, a code that stands for each laptop and phone it is on, and the phone's model. The version of the app and when it last checked the license. Your payments. What you write to Support, and the pictures you send with it. For a phone in its free days, before any license: a code that stands for the phone, its model and the version of the app. The full list is on protitser.com under Privacy. This information is used to run your license and to serve you. It is not sold. If you bought from a distributor, that distributor can see the name, school and laptop of the licenses they sold.

8. Updates.

ProTitser offers its updates through the internet, and you install them from inside the app. Some updates are required: an old version may be asked to update before its license can be renewed.

9. Checking your work.

ProTitser follows DepEd forms and grading rules as the developer understands them. You remain responsible for checking every grade and every form before you submit it.

10. No guarantee.

ProTitser is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, the developer is not liable for lost records, lost time or any other loss that comes from using ProTitser or from not being able to use it. Keep backups.

11. Changes to these terms.

The developer may change these terms. The newest terms are always on protitser.com. When they change, ProTitser tells you the next time it is updated.

12. The law.

These terms follow the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

13. How to reach the developer.

Write to the developer through Support inside ProTitser, or by email at protitser@gmail.com. The ProTitser Facebook page, when there is one, is named on protitser.com.
